Initial steps
People come to therapy for many different reasons and I believe that it takes courage to do so. I am used to guiding people through the steps of therapy and I am committed to creating a supportive and non judgemental space for you.
I offer a 20 minute call (free of charge) to help understand what you are looking for from therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions that you might have about the therapeutic process and about how I work. Starting therapy may feel daunting, so an initial chat can help address any concerns that you might have.
We may then decide to move forward with an initial 50 minute session, either in person or online (charged at the standard rate). Here, we can start to develop an assessment of what may be going on for you and how we might work together.
The therapeutic relationship is central to therapy, so this initial session also gives us a chance to see if we feel we are a good fit.
If we decide to work together, we would then normally agree to meet at the same time each week, either in person or online, for short term or long term therapy. I will be guided by whatever feels right for you.

My consulting room is within close walking distance of both Sloane Square and Victoria tube stations.
